Haitian TPS termination leaves thousands in Queens fearing deportation

The Trump administration's termination of Temporary Protected Status for Haitians has left more than 5,400 Haitians in New York City vulnerable to deportation. A Southeast Queens nonprofit, Frè Ak Sè, founded by longtime community members, is trying to support Haitian residents amid fear and instability caused by the policy change and ongoing violence in Haiti.
