Stephen Miller is directing a cross-agency White House effort involving HHS, DHS, DOJ, State and Defense to accelerate deportations of undocumented immigrant children, with nearly 200,000 children ordered removed by immigration judges since Trump returned to office, according to Mobile Pathways' analysis of DOJ data. The administration has also deported more than 25,000 people to countries that are not their own, backed by at least $410 million pledged to over 30 nations in Africa and Latin America, according to records reviewed by The Washington Post. A newly created State Department Office of Remigration, led by Christian Ehrhardt, coordinates these removals as part of a broader push to deport at least 1 million people annually. One example cited is a six-year-old boy in Denver whose father was already deported and whose pregnant mother was preparing to return the family to Venezuela.
