Martin Majin-Leon, a 58-year-old barbershop owner in Pomona, was detained by federal immigration agents while arriving at his business. Security camera footage showed agents approaching him at gunpoint, which is how his family first learned of his detention. The arrest was linked to an immigration case from more than 20 years earlier, after Majin-Leon was deported and later returned to the United States without authorization. He was held in federal custody before being released after an immigration judge granted his release without bail. Majin-Leon is scheduled to appear before an immigration judge again on May 29 in Los Angeles.
